About Divya
"Sawubona" is a Zulu greeting that translates roughly to "I see you" — the idea that a person is truly seen and acknowledged. It's the spirit Divya brings to her practice. Before training as a psychologist, she spent six years as an Early Childhood Educator, and that grounding in child development still shapes how she works today. Her combined clinical experience spans school-based support, child protection and trauma-informed care, forensic mental health, and university-based assessment — giving her a breadth of practice across neurodevelopmental disorders, mood and anxiety disorders, complex trauma, psychosis, and substance use. She supports clients from a wide range of cultural and educational backgrounds, in person and via telehealth, including crisis support.
